SW Coordinator
At EE Implementation support our mission is to give support to the projects with their test vehicles and rigs within the Physical project build process.
We provide this based on our broad, deep and solid knowledge the distributed Electrical system. This in combination with genuine complete truck and Volvo systems knowledge makes us an outstanding partner in a variety of EEE projects.


We are now looking for a Software Coordinator
Mission of this role is to provide the Software Download Team and other stakeholders, the software packages which they will download in vehicles.
The software packages are generated by performing an import from SW Configurator, so called software breakdown. It is the SW Coordinators responsibility to make sure that the software package can be used in the systems. Also to correct deviations that can occur in the breakdown.
Documentation on what is to be downloaded is also upon SW Coordinator responsibility.
SW Coordinator is also responsible to support SWDL team when actually updating the vehicle.
In manually changes in software packages, such as change of hardware part number in the package to match the actual hardware in the vehicle.


Key responsibilities
To keep track on releases of software from test and verification activities (I5 level).
When software is approved, create packages for complete vehicle trucks.
On software level, support global field test trucks with adjustments and updates.
To perform software breakdowns on project trucks and verification vehicles.
To make sure that generated software is ok. If not, give feedback to concerned people (Release Mgmt) if necessary to correct the SW Documentation.



Authorities (on a recommendation level)
To represent the group in RB, (Release Board) Integration & Release sync, BDST (Build, Delivery & Status Team and other foras concerning SW release and planning.
Other software breakdown related matters.


Needed competences to deliver process output:
Good skills in tools used for software packaging process. Protom, Kola, Configurator,.
General knowledge in complete truck configuration and application.
Good knowledge in networking & communication.
Good coordination abilities.
