Volvo Group Brands/BA/BU have expectations and needs regarding Software’s that are engineered for Volvo Group products and the capabilities that controls when, how and where these shall be offered and consumed by the market. The deployment of Software needs to be balanced against the need to keep Volvo Group products safe and secure and operating optimally through feature, security and quality updates. Software deployment functionality is used for many different purposes, i.e. Software Updates, Product Repairs, Quality/Security Campaigns,
Activation of Services and Apps, Accessory Kits and more.
We are looking for a Product / Epic Owner to define and document the two Software processes of Introduction and Offering, as well as to secure implementation of solutions that will deliver value for Volvo Group and its customers.
Introduction refers to the process of making a Software version ready for market usage and enable it for deployment to Volvo Group products
Offering refers to the process of presenting a Software version as available for consumers, responsible for one or more Volvo Group product individuals. Consumers can be either end-customers or automated systems.
The Introduction and Offering processes shall provide the ability to control which software shall reach which targets, for which purpose and when. The Introduction and Offering can be made for many different purposes and shall always be based on business needs. The processes can be executed manually or automated.
Previous GTT experience mandatory and minimum 5 years of Product/Epic owner experience in an Automotive context. We expect the Product/Epic Owner to have good understanding of SW Configurator, SEWS and KOLA
The Product/Epic Owner shall be able to lead others, be solution oriented and work well independently.
