Component/CAD engineer EATS HW
The Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS) department within Powertrain Engineering Sweden is responsible for the global platform development of exhaust after treatment systems for Volvo Group’s different products around the world. We are about 80 passionate and highly skilled engineers on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of global transportation.
To our Hardware Components Group we are now seeking a Component/CAD
engineer to the EATS muffler team.
As a Component/CAD engineer, you will work with the mechanical HW component development, vehicle installation, product documentation and prototype handling of the complete EATS muffler. The EATS muffler is a very complex product with many integrated functions. You will in this position have the possibility to learn and work in a broad range within the mechanical engineering domain such as materials, mechanical integrity, noise, gas flow and mixing properties, thermal etc. The daily work will be performed in a small team in close collaboration with other functions internally and external suppliers. You will be involved in all different development stages from early concept development to industrialization and product maintenance.
Your future team You will be part of a dedicated team of 5 people where we support each other and solve things together. The team consist of the full range from Senior experts to younger engineers.

Required qualifications:
• MSc. or BSc. or similar in Mechanical engineering
• Experience from powertrain or vehicle development
• Good collaboration skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
