The expectation of the position is to lead the development and secure the Exhaust Aftertreatment System (EATS) delivery to project. It is important to note that the position requires both leading and perform tasks within the aftertreatment team, depending on skillset this can deviate from person to person. The team consist of both mechanical engineers and chemical engineers.
The team are responsible for deliver a complete aftertreatment system including, catalyst specification, catalyst performance, mechanical design supporting the catalyst (muffler), supply systems such as urea dosing system.
Cross functional work and network is a key for this position/role, the team cooperate with many departments within Volvo Penta such as testing, sales, compliance, documentation.

Manage projects or subprojects with limited complexity within a program or portfolio, from initiation to completion. Have full responsibility for defining and managing scope, cost, schedule, quality and risks
- and to deliver on agreed project objectives. May have a certification in project management. May be assigned to a more complex project with support from a lead project manager.Responsibilities may include: Working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
