Senior System Verification Engineer & Scrum Master for Infotainment System

As a System Verification Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in testing our automotive infotainment systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will be responsible for executing detailed manual test plans, documenting defects, and collaborating with developers to ensure seamless integration.
In addition, as a Scrum Master, you will facilitate Agile processes, coach the team, and drive continuous improvement while fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability. Verification Engineer Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute manual test cases based on product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing on automotive applications and embedded systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects using the appropriate tools, ensuring clear and concise communication with the development team.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to understand product functionality and identify edge cases.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Review test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for quality improvements.
• Participate in reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
Scrum Master Responsibilities:
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as a servant leader, supporting and coaching the team to ensure Agile principles are being followed.
• Remove any obstacles or impediments that may hinder the team’s progress.
• Help the team with backlog grooming, prioritization, and maintaining a well-defined product backlog.
• Foster a collaborative, transparent environment where the team can freely share ideas and challenges.
• Track team progress and metrics, ensuring that the team stays on track to meet their sprint goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment of project goals and expectations.
• Continuously monitor and improve team processes, striving for efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in testing embedded automotive systems or infotainment systems.
• Familiarity with automotive standards and certifications like Android Auto, Apple car play, etc.,
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous testing practices.
• Experience in Automation using CAPL, Python, C#, C++ and other scripting languages is meritorious.
