Position: Vehicle Support Engineer

At EE Implementation support our mission is to give support to the projects with their test vehicles and rigs within the physical project build process. We provide this based on our broad, deep and solid knowledge both of the traditional and the distributed Electrical system. This in combination with genuine complete truck and Volvo systems knowledge makes us an outstanding partner in a variety of EEE projects.
We at EE Implementation Support are responsible for the following areas:
Vehicle Electronics Support
- Support component/vehicle projects with state of art knowledge of the EE systems truck implementation including fault tracing, software download and documentations of solutions.
Software Download update vehicle projects development trucks with new software packages including needed hardware changes (CAN & LIN). Workshop To support our customer’s with manufacturing of wiring harnesses including special request, installations and modifications in vehicle projects development trucks and rigs.
Software Coordination To support with SW-package adapted to specific project vehicle and verification rigs according to request to make it possible to download and verify SW. Hardware Coordination To provide project vehicles, rig and electrical workshop with correct/valid HW
We are now looking for an Vehicle Support Engineer (VSE)
The tasks of the vehicle support engineer is to support (our customer?) the operations with fault tracing (EE) in project trucks, early phase EE engineering, software downloading/programming and parameter setting of ECUs, trouble shooting of complex problems in lab/rig and truck environment. To be able to take on this assignment we think you have an experience from working with electrical and electronics in vehicles and also have a good understanding of vehicle electrical architecture. Preferable you have a complete truck knowledge and with the complete vehicle perspective (EE) to be able to understand the product as an end user will do
Working as an vehicle support engineer you will be a part of the Vehicle Electronics Support
team.
The role includes a considerable lot of work in the different Volvo facilities outside of our office / workshop, therefore it’s important to be well-organized and take responsibility for completing tasks according to agreements. Travelling abroad occurs.
