Short Description Role: System Verification Engineer Focus area: Vehicle connectivity & Infotainment
Looking for an experienced Electrical ( 2-5 years) & Electronics engineer with interest in in Verification, vehicle diagnostics, fault tracing with possibility to work closely with dealers and internal and external workshops to coordinate and perform testing for the Vehicle Connectivity and infotainment area.
Main area of responsibility
• Vehicle diagnostics & Fault tracing in rig and vehicles
• E2E testing Onboard and Offboard Connectivity
• Develop, write, preform and report test cases based on the requirements on system and vehicle level
• Securing quality and readiness before release
And this is you
• Mandatory is experience verification in vehicle or system rigs
• BSc or MSc degree in electrical/software engineering or equivalent.is highly valuable
• A solid network within Volvo Group and knowledge of our system and processes is meritorious.
• T-shaping mindset, experience or interest in learning new areas Knowledge of Tools: Vector tools, System Weaver
(position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience)Define and validate the test environment. Integrate, verify, and validate the electrical system with the aim, according to the component interface and expected system behavior. Work as a team member testing and verifying the electrical systems. Perform work according to provide input requirements and instructions. Scope of test and verification is based on a given test scope and is well defined. The scope is also determined by the system behaviors. Execute according to given plans and directives. Analyze and apply knowledge on not fully given frames. Operational responsibility in the day-to-day work. Limited test scope. The product and procedures are given; however, the work requires experience and the capacity to perform analysis and draw conclusions of delivered test results. Resolve issues from the tests. Operational responsibility for the team delivery. Deliver according to defined methods, expected inputs and outputs. Lead system engineering in a technical team. Securing quality and readiness before release. On Experienced level applies practical knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience).
- Self-sufficient, takes lead on own tasks and able to work/plan independently.- Self-driven proactive engagement with learning opportunities and ongoing Experienced development.
- Honing skills in home discipline whilst growing a more general, broader view of wider TD/BA system.- Shows potential for longer-term development.
