Project Manager Design As Project Manager Design you will:
-be an important part of the sustainability strategy as the first assignment will be to phase out hazardous materials from our products
- gain a holistic view of our products, as the project crosses through all engine platforms have the opportunity to not only lead a team of designers for engines and drivelines but also to be part of the complete product development team within the company
- network with suppliers and various parts of the company, such as purchasing, production, testing and the other design departments.

- It is beneficial if you have knowledge and experience to support the CAD design engineer, i.e. Develop design engineering documentation, such as drawings and CAD modules. Mature the product in the CAD system. Redesign existing models (e.g., redesign of small areas etc.) Product and procedures are given; however, the work requires experience and the capacity to perform analysis and draw conclusions. Design components in CAD. Create assemblies of CAD models, and detect, report, and resolve packaging conflicts. Secure quality and readiness before release. Define how to use the drawing as the basis for verifying the product's geometrical properties. Produce technical drawings that are sufficient to define a product.
Product Development Project Management focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project including: Preparing designs, project controls and specifications, schedules, cost estimates, production, transportation, installation, testing and/or commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, equipment, etc. Monitoring progress and performance against the project plan; taking action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays ; Identifying, developing, and gathering the resources necessary to complete the project ;May include preparing engineering standards, designs and work specifications; developing project schedules, budgets and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors. Product Development Project Manager on Senior level applies advanced knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires ?10 years relevant experience). Manage projects or subprojects with limited complexity within a program or portfolio, from initiation to completion. Have full responsibility for defining and managing scope, cost, schedule, quality and risks
