We are looking for a replacer to an experienced Spare Parts Engineer who will retire from Volvo Penta in April. Knowledge in Spare Parts handling is needed and preferably also in Volvo related systems like KOLA and Glopps. Technical competence in Penta products, engine/driveline or software is desirable. General role description: Responsible for securing optimized spare parts solution development according to product prerequisites fulfilling commercial requirements and enabling product maintainability and uptime. Secure spare parts assortment by developing technical solution fulfilling common architecture & shared technology with focus on preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance. Ability to work in diverse technical area. Perform spare parts judgment and create supersession. Secure deliveries with quality prior to releasing for downstream systems and processes. Manage and drive diverse technical areas. Drive work with enhancing global processes and tools, spread knowledge and develop competence by applying lean principles and cross functional collaboration.
On Expert level the employee is a recognized expert in Spare Parts Engineering typically obtained through advanced education and work experience (position typically requires 10 years or more relevant experience).
