Senior System Verification Engineer for Infotainment System

As a Senior System Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in defining, developing, and executing verification strategies for our embedded systems. Your responsibilities will range from crafting detailed verification plans to leading test execution and analysis, ensuring that all system components meet the highest functional and safety standards.
You will collaborate closely with system architects, software engineers, and hardware teams to define and refine verification requirements that align with system specifications. Your role will involve selecting the right verification tools and methodologies, from formal verification and simulation to emulation, while also developing custom testing environments and automation scripts to improve efficiency.
Key responsibilities: Verification Strategy Development: Develop and maintain a comprehensive verification strategy, including test plans, test cases, and coverage analysis. Define and implement verification methodologies and processes, such as formal verification, simulation, and emulation. Collaborate with system architects and software engineers to ensure verification requirements align with system specifications.
Verification Toolchain: Select and configure appropriate verification tools and frameworks, including simulators, emulators, and formal verification tools. Develop and maintain custom verification environments and scripts to automate testing processes.
Verification Execution and Analysis: Oversee the execution of verification activities, including test case development, test execution, and defect tracking. Analyze verification results to identify potential issues and risks, and work with development teams to resolve them. Track and report on verification progress, metrics, and coverage.
Team Leadership and Mentoring: Lead and mentor a team of verification engineers, providing technical guidance and support. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the verification team.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with system architects, software engineers, and hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of verification efforts. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and address verification challenges. The role of the Verification Leader is to plan the connectivity verification activities needed, ensure that the right resources are there and assist in gaining confidence in the deliveries. You are the interface between streams, Agile Release Trains and other stakeholders when it comes to verification. You are responsible to secure that the right activities are in place to secure the quality of a product increment. You work with a long-term focus as well as day to day operations. To your help you have the systems testers to perform the actual verification and your verification leader colleagues for knowledge sharing.
Experience/Skills:
• +5 years experience from ES/SW development and verification
• Leading and coordinating role as Scrum Master, Team Leader, Project Manager or similar
• Automotive business
• Excellent communication and coordinating skills
• Action oriented and able to handle ambiguities
• Understanding of Agile methodologies Good to have:
• Experience from Telematics/Entertainment/Infotainment.
• Truck Driving License.
