We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Automation Framework & Test Script Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior System Verification Engineer, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable automation frameworks for our software products. You will also be responsible for writing and executing automated test scripts, analyzing test results, and identifying and reporting defects. Your work will directly contribute to improving the quality and reliability of our software releases. Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies (e.g., Robot Framework or any Python related FW, Trade federation Framework knowledge is meritorious).
• Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Analyze test results, identify and report defects, and track them to resolution.
• Collaborate with software developers, testers, and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into effective test automation solutions.
• Investigate and troubleshoot automation issues and implement solutions to improve test stability and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in automation testing tools, technologies, and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies.
• Mentor junior team members on automation testing best practices and techniques. Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing.
• Strong programming skills in C#, C++, python or other relevant languages.
• Experience with test automation frameworks is a added advantage.
• Experience with testing methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and DevOps.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for quality and a strong desire to learn and grow.
• Experience with API testing tools will add value.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Experience with performance and security testing.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB).
