The development team Mass and Road Inclination within Motion Estimation & Vehicle Automation sub-stream is responsible for the development and maintenance of different types of weight and road inclination estimations for all brands and combinations within Volvo Trucks.
A M.Sc. degree in Vehicle Dynamics, Control systems, Mechatronics, Robotics or similar. Extensive work experience in embedded sw development, including SW configuration, debugging and verification.
Furthermore, the following background and qualifications area required:
• Experience in estimation techniques and signal-processing in automotive technology.
• Understanding of application SW development and the related environment, including Autosar.
• Well experienced with model-based development, and tools such as Simulink and TargetLink.
• SW architecture and systems development principles.
• Well experienced with Matlab, Simulink, Targetlink, C, C++, Ascet, Jenkins, Embedded Coder, and connected tools such as GIT, Vector DaVinci, CANoe, CANalyzer, dSpace, SystemWeaver.
• Experience in SIL/MIL/HIL testing, rig or vehicle testing
• Hands-on knowledge in how to apply functional safety (ISO26262) principles in function development. Knowledge in SOTIF (ISO21448) is meritorious.
• Driving license for passenger cars is required. C/CE truck driving license it meritorious.
