Your responsibilities
As a Developer you will gain a good understanding of End to End functions of Traction sub-system, logical design of End to End functions and develop embedded software working in a global environment. You would make significant contribution to Global Traction related software platform, joining a team of highly skilled and well organized product development team.
• Platform development Jenkins, CI/CD, C, C+, MATLAB
• System Design, develop, test, maintain, document and release software solutions according to a new Epic/Capability
• Discuss with the Functional Owners to get the required specification which need to be analyzed and implemented as solutions.
• Responsible for developing the Low-Level Design of the SW and provide technical guidance to the team to realize the feature/solution
• Breakdown the new Capabilities onto features and write Stories for the team to realize.
• Responsible for providing estimates for the work packages and technically implementing the solutions.
• Develop unit tests, tests the software to verify functionality using various testing tools.
• Document the software code in order to release the software for use in the ECU.
• Suggest and implement improvements in the software development process/environment. Who are you? You have a good understanding and experience of software development and the related environment. Your personality is your major reason for success, but we think a successful candidate must have the following skills/attributes/experience:
• 5+ years experience in software development and/or mechatronic system design in an automotive context
• Experienced in system design and SW development according to ISO26262
• knowledge of vehicle dynamics, vehicle motion control systems and state estimation theory
The following skills/attributes/experience are also desirable:
• Solution-oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Software development experience using Matlab/Simulink, C and C++
• Truck driving license (C/CE)
