About us Charging is a fast-evolving area within electric vehicles and a key part in making electric cars more accessible to a larger customer base. Volvo Cars are determined to achieve this, not only by offering fast charging speeds, but also by developing solutions for Smart Charging and sophisticated communication strategies towards the electric grid. The Energy Management department at Volvo Cars works with the latest available technology to be at the forefront of the technological shift to electric vehicles.
What You Will Do As an Integration Leader within the Vehicle Product & Release team in the Energy Management department, you will play a crucial role in the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:
• Integration and Configuration: Perform integration and configuration of Basic Software (BSW) and Software Components (SWCs).
• Software Integration Tests: Conduct software integration tests to ensure seamless functionality.
• SW Development Process: Be actively involved in the software development process, contributing to the execution of various tasks.
• Defining Test Scope: Support in defining the scope of integration tests.
• Fault Analysis and Resolution: Analyze, prioritize, and resolve fault reports identified during testing.
• Reporting: Report integration results and other related tasks to ensure transparency and progress tracking.
• Collaboration: Work closely with your team and suppliers to achieve common goals.
Required Qualifications
• Educational Background: B.Sc. degree or equivalent experience.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with the integration and configuration of AUTOSAR modules.
• Technical Skills:
o CI/CD background.
o Basic understanding of Simulink.
o Programming skills in C/C++, preferably from developing CDD and Software Components.
o Understanding of CAN and Ethernet communication.
o Basic software configuration and testing.
o Experience with Vector tool chain and debugging (especially using Trace32).
• Language Skills: Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Good Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
