Analysis Engineer Electric Driveline Verification
At the Electric Driveline Verification team in Electric Driveline department, we are responsible for conceptual testing, development testing and verification of the electric driveline designated to our electrified vehicles. Our tests are primarily performed in test beds but some is also conducted in vehicles. The full team consists of 18 analysis engineers and is divided into three sub teams; function attribute team (functional verification of subsystem and system), system testing team (system verification) and component testing team (component, subsystem and system testing aiming to verify unique components). Each sub team´s test portfolio includes both components and subsystems of the electric driveline but with different perspective in mind.
Electric Driveline Verification is responsible of verifying all HW components of the electric driveline, consisting of electric machine, transmission and inverter (treated as black box). You will be part of an engineering team that develop test methods, conduct testing and analyse test results to secure attribute requirements and product fulfilment within decided project timing before the product reach its end customer. The work includes contacts with design teams, CAE teams, workshops, internal/external test labs and other engineering departments.
Main responsibilities Main responsibilities are test planning, test preparation, test object preparation, test execution, test object hardware analysis, test data analysis and test reporting.
Each test is commonly performed by one person to create a red thread throughout the whole verification process. Therefore, you will obtain a broad technical knowledge about the whole analysis and verification chain. The component testing team whereof you will be a part is responsible of component testing of i.e., gears, bearings, housing, sensors, rotors and stators of the electric driveline. Other tasks included in the analysis engineer role are participation in different meetings with stakeholders to align performed, ongoing and future testing. As a part of our highly skilled verification team, we hope that you can contribute with technical competence and experience in the automotive electrification field.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferable Master´s in mechanics, electro or mechatronics.
- Experience as analysis engineer in HW testing of electric driveline for at least 5 years, preferable knowledge within component testing of e-transmissions.
- Skilled in data analysis tools as Matlab, Python Sympathy for data and Concerto.
- Knowledge in Teamcenter and other tools for data acquisition.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Driver´s license B.
Personal qualities
- Structured way of working and good documentation skills.
- Positive attitude and constructive mindset.
