In our team Interior Vision, we have an ambitious roadmap to develop the new platform for Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) to detect driver distraction and drowsiness facilitating e.g. driver alert warnings. We are now looking for a senior hardware engineer to our team, to be part of our journey in developing the new platform for future vehicle models. Main responsibilities:
• Requirement engineering with elements such as base technology concepts, performance, electrical, mechanical, EMC, thermal, quality and service requirements, in which you will have close interaction with stakeholders internally and externally.
• Be an interface toward suppliers within hardware development, ranging from sourcing phase to product launch. In close collaboration with stakeholders, securing that the product development is executed according to defined requirements with the expected quality while meeting the time plan.
• Lead technical design reviews, internal reviews as well as supplier joint reviews.
• Secure compliance agreements with suppliers.
• Develop verification methods and create and managing verification plan. Perform FMEA.
• Contribute to build-up of hardware experience in the team Required qualifications:
• M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
• At least 5-10 years of experience from hardware design and mechanical engineering of ECUs and sensors in the automotive field
• Well experienced in managing suppliers in an international environment
• Extensive knowledge about and passion for hardware design and automotive components
• Experience in base technology concepts, System Safety and Cyber Security
• Experience of VPDS, KDP, CarWeaver, TeamCenter is meritorious
• Excellent English skills, both verbally and written
• Driver’s licence (B)
