What you’ll do
You will design traction inverters, focusing on the digital mixed signals electronics design. You will contribute to define and optimize circuits that best fulfil our requirements, you will select and size the components needed driven by an analytical approach with help of simulation tools and finally perform test activities including fault-tracing, bring-up, functional and reliability verification. You will be involved in the conceptual and architecture definition and be responsible of tracking the cutting-edge technologies in digital and analog electronics, benchmarking alternatives to grant best solution in terms of performance, cost and reliability.
Preparing and gathering design documentation such as schematics, design descriptions, design reviews and design guidelines, etc.. will also be among your tasks.
You and your skills
We believe you have Master´s Degrees in Electronics Engineering or other related electrical engineering majors. You have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in mixed signal electronics design within industrial applications, better if in automotive. You have proven knowledge in microcontrollers and other digital components, as well as analog components design and selection, knowledge in communication protocols like SPI, CAN & LIN. You have a strong laboratory experience, being able to contribute in development test and bring up your hardware in autonomy, defining proper test cases and procedure to verify the design. You have basic understanding of EMC and you are also able to support our PCBA layout engineers and are familiar with design and simulation tools such as PSpice, Altium, INCA, CANoe, etc...
Knowledge in worse-case circuit analysis, failure mechanism and reliability in electronics is meritorious.
