Description Position: Engineering task leader navigation and other location services

Location: [Lundby, Gothenburg]
Within EACS electronics we have the full responsibility of in-vehicle entertainment functions such as navigation, phone, radio / media, voice, among others. You find our products in trucks and busses. Our android based software applications are developed in house or by our partners.
We are seeking an experienced Engineering task leader to join our EACS electronics team. In this role, you will take product ownership by driving our technical discussions with suppliers, taking ownership for functional requirements and discussions about integration needs with our Product owners and developers.
This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge android-based software applications related to in-vehicle entertainment and connected services.
Key Responsibilities:
As an Engineering task leader at DI&I
- Entertainment and Connected Services, your responsibilities will include:
Partner Relationship Management: Ensuring great technical collaboration, build and maintain strong partner relationships and project success together with our suppliers and partners.
Problem Resolution: Analyze problem reports originating from different areas within your domain and drive them through the complete lifecycle to resolution.
Functional Requirements: Create and maintain Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) for all variants, use cases, and legal requirements related to End user functions.
Collaborate with Product owner and support in priortizing backlogg for probelm reports and features.
Follow up on product status and initiate new feature updates, bug fixes etc.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams of developers, designers, and testers to achieve project goals.
Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with team members, stakeholders, and clients, providing regular project updates.
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Qualifications:
* Previous experience working in an Automotive software development organization preferably with Navigation.
* Prior experience in roles such as Project Management, Product Owner, Technical Writer/Business Analyst for software, Scrum Master, or Verification Leader.
* Knowledge of Agile and traditional project management principles and practices, with the ability to blend them effectively.
* Previous experience in in-vehicle entertainment or infotainment is a strong merit.
* Knowledge and previous experience from working with JIRA.
Personal Skills:
* Strong collaboration and communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
* Exceptional analytical, planning, and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage competing demands.
* Creative problem-solving approach, capable of maintaining a holistic view while focusing on details.
* A strong drive to deliver results and meet objectives and commitments.
* Knowledge of software Requirements, Verification, and Validation methods.
