We are looking for a Business Analyst who will play an integral role within our Scrum team, collaborating closely with developers and the Product Owner to drive forward both functional and technical solutions.
Role Overview: As a Business Analyst, you will be a critical member of a Scrum team, working alongside developers, testers, and the Product Owner to refine and deliver features aligned with business goals. You will own the process of gathering, analyzing, and documenting both functional and technical requirements, ensuring they are clearly understood by the team. * Functional Specification Development: Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, workflows, and acceptance criteria. Ensure these are effectively communicated and well-understood within the Scrum team.
* Technical Requirement Alignment: Work hand-in-hand with the Product Owner and development team to ensure technical requirements are clear, feasible, and aligned with the overall product architecture.
* Stakeholder Management: Serve as a point of contact between business stakeholders and the Scrum team, ensuring continuous feedback loops and transparent communication on progress, risks, and dependencies.
* Solution Design & Validation: Collaborate with the Product Owner to design user-centric solutions and ensure that functional requirements are in sync with the technical capabilities of the team.
* Documentation & Communication: Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, system diagrams, and testable acceptance criteria that facilitate shared understanding across the team.
* Quality Assurance Support: Assist in the development of test cases and participate in testing to validate that features meet both functional requirements and quality standards. Support the Scrum team during UAT and bug-fixing phases.
* Scrum Team Collaboration: Participate actively in all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Work closely with the development team to refine the product backlog and support sprint goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience: Experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, Functional Analyst, or Technical Business Analyst in a software development environment, preferably within the automotive sector.
* Agile Mindset & Scrum Experience: Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) and hands-on experience working in a Scrum team setting.
* Collaboration & Teamwork: Proven experience working closely with development teams, Product Owners, and cross-functional stakeholders in an agile environment.
* Technical & Functional Expertise: Solid understanding of software development processes and ability to bridge the gap between functional needs and technical constraints.
* Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of quickly understanding complex issues, translating business needs into actionable user stories, and facilitating conversations between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey functional and technical details clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
* Customer-Centric Approach: Deep empathy for the end-user, with a commitment to delivering value that enhances user experience and solves real customer problems.
* Adaptability & Initiative: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, proactively identifying and addressing needs to ensure successful delivery within the Scrum team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Tools & Technologies: System weaver, Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other agile project management tools for backlog refinement and documentation.
* Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the automotive industry and related standards or regulations.
* Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or similar certifications are a plus.
* Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming languages, data structures, and software architecture to facilitate better communication with the development team.
What We Offer:
* Collaborative Team Environment: Be an integral part of a high-performing Scrum team where your insights and ideas are valued.
* Innovation & Impact: Work on products that are shaping the future of automotive technology, with opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the user experience.
