We are looking for a Test Engineer to our Attribute group Robustness to Fire at Materials Engineering Centre (MEC) in Complete Vehicle Engineering at Volvo Cars Engineering. Within MEC we contribute by supporting design- and engineering teams and procurement in choosing the most suitable materials at the right place in the car. The teams are highly involved in verification of components, subsystems, and systems, and are responsible for complete vehicle test and analysis.
We are looking for a team player that appreciate interaction with internal stakeholders and enjoys to work both theoretical and practical. Your job will include lab testing with open flame according to different standards to make sure our components meet our requirements and release lab reports in our system.
Meritorious if you have worked in Car Weaver with requirements or Team Center to be able to see and evaluate CAD models.
Why do you fit the profile? Previous experience in leading method development and validation projects in a laboratory environment. Lab work experience Curious and technically educated. Excellent English written and oral skills. Knowledge in Cad, Catia or Volume graphics is meritous. Flexible and adaptable. Can do-attitude. Attention to details and analytical skills
