This position typically requires 2 to 5 years relevant experience. This role requires lot of hardware responsibility, not down to the PCB level but more with purchasing of PC, cables, scnreem antenna, etc. Find/suggest components that fit in the system, contact with suppliers in to order and procure things. Basic knowledge of ECUs, CAN/LIN and truck hardware is an advantage. This role also demands for troubleshooting which can include everything from troubleshooting networks together with IT, Windows and other applications. It requires curiosity, system understanding and an ability to see patterns/connections Good knowledge about networks, Windows, etc. Someone who does not fear to work with the workshops at Volvo and help install the test system in the trucks, not afraid to do things yourself, run cables, screw components etc. Often the trucks are test objects that are not standard and require special solutions, a little creativity/problem solving may be required
• Experience with cables, soldering, crimping is good to have.
