We are in a phase when we strengthen our team in Lundby. If you are interested in facility (Säve test track), both strategic and hands on work with stake holders, this is something. The facility part will not be 100%, the rest of the time you will support with testing in terms of planning, coordination and in rare cases hands on testing. As you can see this position has many different tasks and you will be balancing between them. What do we as team do? We have a small test track at Säve. Our responsibility is site management. We enable autonomous testing, and the main tasks is to secure safety and security. In this responsibility we safeguard all kind of activities such as Fire alarm, cleaning, snow removal, coffee machine, vending machine, contracts, error reports, safety round etc etc.
In this team we also take lead for vehicle testing in terms of Fuel consumption, Energy Efficiency, Drivability, Air resistance (Air drag), Expedition lead and SW testing. Tests are performed both on Test track but also on public roads. Purpose is to verify that new technical solutions is proven to be better than today’s production. The result is also a vital part in CO2 calculations. Our stakeholders are Feature leaders and other technical areas.
We also develop new Productivity test methods that will support electrical and autonomous vehicles development. We believe that the future consists of new technologies and this team is aiming to be in the front line.
What will you do? As a member in our team and in this role, you are supposed to master and take lead for:
• Daily business at Säve site in terms of:
o Contact with test team at Säve.
o Contacts with neighbor (same building)
o Fire alarm, cleaning, snow removal, coffee machine, vending machine, contracts, error reports, safety round etc.
• Leading a work together with CVA team that will lead to a defined strategy for future need of facility for competitor trucks, shows and clinics.
• Test leading in terms of technical and administration. We are exploring test leading in a new field for us. You will be a side kick and help this progress.
This work is a mix of practical and analytical tasks.
