We are System Complete, a new function within Electromobility at Volvo GTT. We have been up and running since May,2 and we consist of 300+ engineers.
Within Electromobility we have decided to go for an operating model based on a classic project set-up, so we are now transforming from an agile SAFe set-up to this new classic WoW.
During the change period I am in need of extra support in our leadership team.
In this role you will:
Help the VP of System Complete to drive a governance fora called Technical. This is a weekly fora with our SVP attending that manages escalations from the CPMs in the projects. I need help in securing an agenda, qualified material available on time, detailed technical meeting minutes that can be distributed to complete Emob (900+ persons). (This requires technical competence).
Help the VP of system complete to get the financial processes in place and push group managers to secure updated budgets. Target is to have HC and budget under control. This requires an interest in digging into financial tools like Score and PowerBI reports.
Support with securing a strategy that motivates our investment plans. The function is responsible for verification of the batteries and all other parts in an emob system. To handle the future growth we have extensive investment plans (~1000MSEK) in the area, but we have today a lack of connection between the strategy/product roadmap and the investment plan. I need help in creating this link.
Workforce plan
- I need help in driving the work to create a workforce plan for the function. The plan shall secure that we will deliver on the roadmap for electromobility.
Also, support in creating some order in my Leadership meetings would be great.
Since we are changing the WoW there will be several small "change projects" that needs a leader.
