(position typically requires 0-2 years relevant experience)Manufacturing Product Preparation Engineer is responsible for the transition of products from product development into full production readiness including: Securing that Product Development / Technology teams deliver a product that is verified and aligned with Volvo Production System and Future Factory Concept; Establishing clear and commonly shared product requirements for one's dedicated area of responsibility; Effectively coordinating and triggering activities of Manufacturing Solution Engineers within production; Securing that product changes are introduced in the industrial system without disturbance, according to set targets; Responsible for creating requirements and specifications for production test tools, either directly with development teams or by collaborating with product test engineers; May develop and define product support plan. On Entry level applies theoretical knowledge typically obtained through education (position typically requires 0-2 years relevant experience).
