High Voltage System Engineer
The HV System team acts as a bridge between complete vehicle and component owners (mainly within Propulsion & Energy) by balancing and coordinating high level requirements and attributes on sub-system level. The work can therefore be both on holistic levels and at the same time with a clear focus on technical details. We own the Propulsion High Voltage System and have the systems engineering view in discussions around, amongst others, charging standards, power electronics and control solutions, system safety and EMI compliance.
What You’ll do
We are looking for a person with a University degree within electric power engineering, electronics or equivalent skills. Previous work-life experience within electric power system design is a firm requirement for the role. Experience of electric propulsion systems and HV-components, power electronics, electric machines, inverters, converters and traction batteries as well as experience of EMC, standards and regulations regarding electrical safety and testing of electrical vehicles is meritorious. Experience of architecture work is a merit.
It is important that you are team oriented and willing to contribute to the atmosphere as well as the deliverables from the team. The job also requires that you are self-motivated with a strong drive for personal development. You are great with oral, written, and visual communication and presentation in English and you are business oriented, flexible and performance driven.
