Position description As a Product Cyber Security Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and integrity of our products throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, and quality assurance to implement robust security measures and protocols. Your primary responsibility will be to assess potential security risks, develop mitigation strategies, and coordinate the implementation of security controls to safeguard our products against cyber threats.
Key responsibilities
•
Collaborate with product development teams to integrate security best practices into the product development lifecycle.
•
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security weaknesses in our products.
•
Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures to protect against cyber threats.
•
Coordinate penetration testing and security assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.
•
Stay abreast of the latest security threats and trends, and proactively recommend security enhancements.
•
Serve as a subject matter expert on product security matters, providing guidance and support to internal teams.
•
Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external security partners/vendors
•
Support colleagues in developing expertise in the field.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
•
Proven experience in product security or cyber security roles
•
Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies
•
Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies
•
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards such as R155/156, ISO/SAE 21434 and GDPR
•
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
