As System Verification Engineer
- Test Architect in Diagnostic Platform Engineering, you will be involved in full lifecycle of our diagnostic service-based systems and tools supporting AB Volvo Aftermarket needs. You will play a key role to secure the quality of our technical solutions by refining and implementing our Test Strategy as well as the supporting technical roadmap.
All our work is done in agile teams in iterative collaboration with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and UX specialist. You are going to work across the agile teams securing a consistency on our way of testing.
Your focus will be to:
- Refine our Test Strategy and drive the implementation in the different levels of our agile release train together with the development teams.
- Define and implement the technical roadmap supporting the Test Strategy.
- Support development teams and verification engineers with built-in quality best practices for test automation and continuous integration.
Relevant knowledge/experience:
- A Master- or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering, Physics Engineering or Mechatronics/Automation Engineering or Computer Science).
- You have previous experience leading projects or initiatives as a System Verification Engineer or similar. It is required more than 12 years’ experience within the quality assurance area.
- Experience with Test Strategy in a Microservice type of architecture, preferably by implementing the strategy.
- Experience with agile software development way of working such as DevOps, continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
- Advanced programming and Test Automation skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of the equipment for electronics system testing (CANoe, CANalyzer, etc.)
- Intermediate knowledge about electronics/embedded SW development.
- Experience in the automotive industry.
- Fluent English.
