What you will do
• Develop and utilize system 1-D simulation methods as well as 3-D analyses for battery components and system
• Perform complete vehicle system simulations to evaluate the impact on the battery and its attributes such as range, power performance and thermal aspects
• Initiate physical tests and analyze results for validation of the simulation methods
• Create technical documentation of the methods and reports of the analyses.
• Present the work to team members and stakeholders outside the team.
• Coordinate internal and external work with other departments and suppliers

• Minimum Master’s degree in engineering, with focus on thermal analyses/applied mechanics.
• At least 3 years of work experience with 1-D system thermal system simulations, tools used at VCC are GT-suite and inhouse developed tools.
• Documented skills with Python, Java, and Matlab/Simulink as well as practical experience from work with thermal system simulations, GT-suite
• Documented skills with 3-D simulations in STAR CCM++ is meritorious
