Cybersecurity Architect
The Position As a Cybersecurity Architect within the Business, Architecture, Services and Connectivity stream, you will be part of building a global platform utilized by the brands within Volvo Group. Within Connectivity System, Architecture & Verification, our main responsibility is to develop and maintain large solution level enablers for digital services. As a cybersecurity engineer your main role will be to provide expert input to a stable cross functional design team during technical concept development. You will contribute to the development of a mature ISO21434 based product cybersecurity management system. You will provider leadership to teams of cybersecurity engineers and guide their work towards a long-term vision aligned with business goals. Through this you will translate a cybersecurity strategy into capabilities that protect our products, assets, and customers. This strategy will include cybersecurity verification, testing as well as threat intelligence gathering. You will communicate our architectural vision and be an ambassador for our technology area inside and outside Volvo. It is expected that you will continuously collaborate with other leaders and practitioners in product cybersecurity.
In this position you will report to the Group Manager for Connectivity System, Architecture & Verification. We also support our Agile Release Trains with cybersecurity engineering throughout the product lifecycle (i.e. during implementation, verification, validation, and maintenance). On top of this, we also work to develop the internal processes necessary for effective cyber security management and act as a knowledge center for cyber security within BASC.

You particularly enjoy delivering results and meeting customer expectations. You feel comfortable in a team leader role and thus leading and supervising technical work come naturally to you. We expect you are a social person who enjoys working with others in flexible team constellations. We believe you have a University degree as the basis for your career. You are fluent in English both in business and privately as well as in speaking and writing.
