The responsibility of our group is to design the electromobility diagnostics system.
We are approximately 6 highly skilled professionals, who share a passion for technology and developing products that make a difference for the Volvo Group’s customers and society. For our team the most common tasks are diagnostic architecture and systems design. The expectations are high, and therefore we need to get you on board to further strengthen our capacity.
The Electromobility department combines the benefits of a large international company with the feeling of working at a small company. There is close collaboration between different parts of the organization from sales and purchasing to workshops and labs all located in the modern, inspiring facility CampX. Who are you? To be successful in this position you need to be a team player and a problem solver. You are communicative, have good technical skills and are curious about learning new things. We believe that you have a solution and result oriented attitude. To be able to take on this challenge successfully we believe that you have the following background and skills:
• Master of Science in Engineering or similar
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Experience from teamwork with good collaboration skills
• More than 4-year experience of diagnostics system design within EV/Electromobility area
• Experience in Requirement writing and handling
Meritorious experience:
• Good understanding in any of these technical areas – Battery management system, Motor Drive system, Charging, Thermal and High Voltage
• Knowledge in ISO26262, R100, CCS/MCS standards
• Experience in developing diagnostic platform solutions
• Knowledge in ISO/SAE diagnostic communication standards and OBD legal requirements
• Previous experience in embedded SW-development, including the use of Simulink/Targetlink.
• Scripting using e.g. Phyton or other tools
• CAN communication including CANalyzer experience
Work description Our task is to design a diagnostic system that enable efficient fault tracing. We do this by analyzing the systems, performing FMEAs, X-functional discussions with experts from different areas etc. Our deliveries are diagnostic system concepts and requirements that are to be implemented by other development team. We trust the individual and act as a team, we always have the customer in focus, and we want to deliver high quality products.
