You will be part of the Verification and Validation test group, where we build knowledge by testing and secure the quality of our products with the world as our test track The team is part of the Customer Quality Experience department. The position Design and construct test equipment, test rigs and special adaptions for vehicle systems. Provide expertise in automotive measurement technology. Develop, interpret and review instrument calibration methods and results. Educate in measurement technology for the test engineers. Perform functions associated with testing including operations, equipment, inventory control management and component level repair. Perform analysis of test data with correct consideration to external influences and error factors. Responsible for sustaining, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting problematic set-up and equipment.

Required skills BSc or MSc in e.g. Mechatronic, Electrical, Electronic or equivalent experience. Experience with lab equipment, like oscilloscopes, along with soldering skills. Extensive knowledge in automotive measurement technology. Understanding of physical quantities and how mechanics, heat, electricity works. Highly skilled in electronics and embedded systems design, including C-programming. Understanding of test and model correlation experience, adequately establishing a structured design of experiments and executing test and analysis with known differences, justifying confidence and uncertainty in modelling and testing accuracies.
