The VAS ERP implementation project aims to build a foundation for financial accounting, financial control, and billing processes for the company. The project involves the deployment of the Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations modules, which is designed to provide end-to-end financial management capabilities.
In this project you will analyze the organization's existing financial processes and capabilities to identify gaps and prepare the requirements for the implementation team. Based on the analysis, the project team will design a solution that meets the organization's requirements and implement the solution using the Dynamics 365 platform.
The project will focus on the following key areas:
– Financial Accounting: The project will design and implement its financial accounting processes based on best practice for the selected technology. This includes general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, cash and bank management, and fixed asset management.
– Financial Control: The project will help the organization to establish financial controls that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and enables the reporting and analysis of the business profitability. This includes setting up workflows for approval of financial transactions, establishing segregation of duties, and implementing internal controls.
– Billing: The project will help the organization to improve its billing processes by automating the creation and management of invoices and integrating billing with other financial processes.
The project team will work closely with the organization's finance team to ensure that the solution meets their requirements and is aligned with their business processes. The team will also provide training and support to ensure a smooth transition to the new system.
We’re looking for a profile to join us mid-project and onboard quickly to support us in activities to build our future ways of working.
Main Responsibilities – Support the project providing fact-based analysis of the business and digital environment by utilizing information gathered from a variety of resources and channels. – Drive an MVP mindset across the team, by helping the team defining minimum value and user-testable outputs. – Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and translating business needs into functional requirements for the ERP platform. – Use data modelling practices to analyze findings and produce written documentation to support the work. – Coordinate with, and managing multiple partners and stakeholders, both internal and external. – Support the team in problem-solving, highlighting priorities and managing trade-offs. – Conduct product demos, end-user training and facilitate workshops.
Specific Activities – Business process modelling in relation to the new D365 solution and Volvo system landscape. – Design VAS unique processes and procedures for Finance. – Map TO-BE business flows and map roles and responsibilities. – Support in planning for 2025 scope to expend ERP. – Hyperion replacement impact analysis and design MVP (go live solution). Analyze mandatory fiduciary responsibilities, both legally and from Volvo Group to ensure VAS adheres (either manually or automatically) to all requirements in the new setup.
Competence Specification For this role we are looking for several years of experience within a similar position needing excellent business analytic skills such as requirements engineering, an collaborative and transparent way of working.
– Experience working with finance supporting applications. – Thorough understanding of finance core business processes. – Proficient in tools to manage backlogs, requirements and workshop facilitation such as Azure Devops, Confluence, or similar. – Excellent presentation and documentation skills. – Proficient in workshop facilitation and stakeholder management. – Master verbal and written communication in English on a professional level, and prior work experience in an international context. – Experience with Dynamics 365 is a plus. – Experience working in Volvo Group is a plus.
