This is us The Product Release & Documentation team is responsible for securing the continuous deliveries of consistent and well-documented embedded system releases towards our many different stakeholders, internal GTT, and external to GTO/AMT.
We also provide the GTT organization with know-how to release software, with quality assured documentation, that enables possible breakdown and installation in all applicable rigs and vehicles during development phases, and towards our factories and aftermarket releases.
We continuously strive to maintain and improve the operational software release and software documentation flow.
About the work
As a Product Owner for Release Management your mission will be to maximize the value delivered from the global Release Management team.
You will be in charge of defining, planning and follow-up of the teams actions and deliveries, in accordance with the set priorities and time plans. Building and maintaining the teams competence on the right level to deliver on expectations will also be part of this. You will be responsible for aligning and continuously improve the team internal ways-of-working as well as assuring that our external processes are effective and supports the SW release work within GTT. Together with management you will be influencing our resource priorities on a long term horizon.
On a daily basis you will be responsible to maintain work balance and prioritize within the team.
In this role you are expected to work both operational as a Release Manager and as a teamleader for the team.
The work as Release Manager requires that you have a very good insight and understanding of our EE architecture and the product documentation in especially SW Configurator. Key activities as a Release Manager include defining SW system baselines, ensuring product documentation quality in a system level, prepare documentation for release decisions, interface to and support stakeholders of the integrations/releases such as stream release engineers, Product Leaders, Field test (FVV), assembly factories (GTO), and aftermarket (AMT).
