Lead mechanical design engineering in a X-functional technical team. Have on holistic view on deliverables from other interfaces to secure quality & readiness before release. Spread knowledge and develop competence within the team. Develop and Manage networking across the organization and provide inputs to the project pre-requisites based on the component history.
The engineer will be part of the Chassis Quality team working only to solve major and most severe customer issues (CPI). The CPI could cover any of the Chassis area and there will be in several engineers from chassis in the team together with GTx and brand resources. Experienced mechanical engineer, fully proficient in Creo, proficient in KOLA, preferably with Volvo Chassis experience and any other Volvo Trucks production or aftermarket experience in earlier assignments. Excellent team collaboration and communication skills are a must.
