Senior UX Designers for onboard UX development (Trucks divisions, multi brand)
- Design System focus
At Volvo Group Design in Gothenburg we are working with all Volvo Business Areas (Trucks, Buses, Construction Equipment and Penta) and support digital HMI platform and implementation projects for Renault and Mack.
This position will be focused on Design System development for onboard experiences for our trucks business. Excellent UI execution is key. Deep understanding of multibrand Design System development is critical, since setting structure and hands-on way of working is part of the deliveries. This is an opportunity to be part of a small team and impact our future products and the transport industry as a whole.

Previous experience
- prerequisite:
- 8 years of experience as a UX and UI Designer
- Working in an Agile environment, preferably following SAFe framework
- Project management attributes such as structured mind, ability to drive with focus on results
- Fluent user of Figma and Adobe design tools.
- Proven experience with UI prototyping tools such as Protopie
- Understanding of technical frameworks such as Android AutomotiveOS and Qt
- Fundamental understanding of Design System construction and usage
Desired skills:
- Insights into the latest trends in automotive and other technology areas.
- Understand and interpret data in a structured way.
Critical thinker, strong communicator, confident presenter (concept and design reviews), strong collaborator, own drive and ability to also work independently of others. Passionate about premium user experience and user interface design.
