• Support with Design check activities in projects as Review and approve Design Change Notice (DCN) for technical solutions.
• Active Engineering support in early project phases to support the designers in their work.
• Support in Pre-checking\Technical review of engineering solutions
• Regarding, CAD checking we do limited activities, so CAD (Catia) knowledge is considered as qualifying only.
The majority of the work is as drawing checker, but we also want a person, that can
• Support us to develop & deliver training and other learning services supporting the competence development of Designers & checkers.
• Work with a wide local and global cross-functional network and participate in process improvements and standards introduction\revision.
• Specific expert knowledge in some area/s connected to Design check areas is qualifying (i.g tolerance chain calculations, DTS.)
Personal Qualifications
• Standardization experience and interest (especially Drawing standards)
• Geometrical Assurance & Dimensional Management
• Product development experience
• Industrial/manufacturing experience
• Experience from automotive industry is qualifying, Especially Volvo/ KOLA system knowledge
• Positive and open mindset and like to take contact and interact with people
• Good communication skills in English.
Note: Relevant experience in this case means experience from analyzing and/or checking drawings. E.g not engineering experience in general.
