Design components in CAD. Create assemblies of CAD models, and detect, report, and resolve packaging conflicts. Secure quality and readiness before release. Define how to use the drawing as the basis for verifying the product's geometrical properties. Produce technical drawings that are sufficient to define a product. On Expert level the employee is a recognized expert in CAD Engineering typically obtained through advanced education and work experience (position typically requires 10 years or more relevant experience).

- Known subject matter expert and a natural goto person for complex discipline related issues
- Strong Tshaped profile (either building deeper discipline excellence or developing mature generalist toolbox)
