Working according to the DIA model (Discover, Incubate, accelerate) we are now aiming to go into the incubation phase pursuing to conceptualize a new business model and solution in the area of onsite service.
Job description We have a need to strengthen a Volvo internal cross functional project team with a senior service designer to lead the work of detailing process and updating a service blueprint based on input from experts, market company and customers to define a minimum viable service concept taking scalability considerations into aspect and to be used as input to a solution architecture that can enable easy access to the service and a premium customer experience when using the service via a digital user interface. Responsibility of the service designer also includes to validate market and customer demand and willingness to pay for the service.
Desired profile:
- More than 12 years of relevant experience in service and business design
- Captures, translates and packages business and customer needs into viable and desirable commercial solutions and service strategies.
- Secures business and customer value while facilitating human-centric ways of working with cross-functional teams across Volvo Group.
- Facilitate pre-defined stakeholder group collaboration and produce design artefacts
- Works independently and lead service design workstream
- Helps to embed good practice within teams by ensuring the right selection and application of methods and approaches.
- Secures application of best practices, ensuring high-quality deliveries with proven business benefit across broader organization.
- Sets direction and assure the quality of design delivery across stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
The position is time limited to a 12 weeks conceptualization phase but it is desired to have the option to prolong the assignment if decision is taken to move into a prototyping phase given a successful conceptualization phase.
A hybrid working model is acceptable with a minimum of 3 working days per week on site in our offices. Travel could be required depending on selected target market(s).
