Seeking a consultant to support in component development of Engine pipes and hoses for oil and cooling systems as Base Engine department GTT.
You will join in a team that has the responsibility of the full chain of pipes and hoses. From in house design to maintenance of production parts.
We have steel pipes, flexible steel braded pipes, plastic pipes, rubber hoses as well as brackets and fittings. Giving a wide range of components and a large cross functional network both within Volvo and different suppliers. You will work with designing solutions (some CAD work will be included in the assignment) for our engine projects as well secure part release and build parts ready in time according project time plans. Flexible mindset is needed since late changes of pipe design can occur late in our projects.
It is a dynamic position where structure and being able to drive cross-functional networks (buyer, aftermarket, production and engineering, suppliers) is a really important skillset. Team work and attention to details are likewise important.
Qualifications: 0-2 years of experience
Experience from Creo is desired and a great advantage.
