You want to take development from start, understanding user needs, make the implementation and quality assure the solution. In an agile team setup.
Within Driver Interaction we work with defining and realizing the interaction with the driver through displays, stalks and switches. We work in embedded C for core logics and C++/Qt for HMI visualization.

A main part of the developed code ends up in the instrument cluster(Driver Information Module). The current HW is a 2 processor solution that is running autosar towards the vehicle and Linux/Yocto towards the graphical enginge Qt. We connect with CAN, LIN and ethernet. Ethernet communication utilize SOME-IP, stomp and display sharing. 

The work is done in a scrum team of about 8 people including dedicated PO and developing Scrum Master. We believe in continuous integration and automatic regression testing where each team is responsible for its product over time. Truck knowledge and/or automotive experience is a great qualifier but not a necessity.

Perform functional development meaning requirement breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing and verification. Specialize in a technical domain (Vehicle, HMI, Combustion, Engine After treatment, Electro mobility, Powertrain control, Control Theory, Mechatronic, Diagnostics) in which features are developed. Lead system engineering in a technical team and play an active role in the delivery. Integrate deliveries from others. Responsibility for securing quality and readiness before release. 

The deliveries are often focused on the early phases of the development cycle, developing technical roadmaps. Network across the organization, as well as influencing the work in the other sites. Develop acquired competence, as well as participate in the business development. On Specialist level the employee is a specialist in Embedded Software Applications typically obtained through education and work experience
