We need to strengthen our Cooling system team with a component responsible. We develop pumps and valves for coolant and hydraulic applications in internal combustion engines, electromobility and fuel cell vehicles.
We are looking for someone that enjoys working cross functional, sharing knowledge and thrive while working in a team.
As component responsible you support on development of the parts starting from development to solving serial quality issues and can take responsibility for the whole chain. Working to improve environmental impacts of components and system is also included in our responsibility.
You have experience in mechatronics and component development. Experience from developing electrical cooling components and earlier Volvo experience is a strong advantage.
We believe that you are a person with a curious mindset, self-driven and have developed analytical skills and learnt the importance of developing new technical products in a structured and organized way. Former positions have given you a good level of understanding component features. You pay attention to details and can take necessary actions when required. The Cooling System group is a part of the Base Engine department in Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT) based in Gothenburg. The group has global design and system responsibility for several cooling functions within heavy duty combustion engines, electromobility vehicles as well as fuel cells vehicles. We are product owners and accountable for the lifecycle management of our products, from advanced engineering, through product development into the maintenance phase. We cooperate with purchasing, projects, test engineers and suppliers as well as our colleagues in our global network.
