SOFTWARE VERIFICATION ENGINEER

SUSPENSION CONTROL SYSTEM
The group BF93240 “Suspension Control System” within Vehicle Dynamics sub stream, residing in the “Vehicle motion and Thermal management” technology stream, is responsible for the development of the suspension control systems for all truck brands within Volvo Group as well as Volvo Bus.
We are looking for a highly motivated engineer to strengthen our team in the Suspension Control SW verification area.
THIS IS US
You will be a member of a highly skilled agile team that have full product ownership of suspension control system, from requirement and specification to end customer and quality follow up. The team works closely together with all needed cross-functional counterparts in our global arena.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a verification engineer within our team, you will be one of four focusing on verification. The work will include review of existing software requirements and creation of test cases/scenarios on ECU level (V3 SIL and HIL). The team that you will be a part of is also responsible for regression testing and analysis of the result.
Since the team also includes function owners and SW developers you will be a closely involved in the SW development even though you probably not will write SW application code. You will develop and execute test cases primarily on ECU level in HIL and SIL environment. You will be an important member in an agile team, contributing to short term deliveries as well as long term strategies.
Key activities are:
* Test case/scenario creation on unit test level
* Run and analyze regression results (mainly automated)
* Develop and continuously improve our verification strategy and way of working

OTHER REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS FOR THIS POSITION
M.Sc. degree in Mechatronics, Control engineering, Computer Science, Electronics or similar.
Good knowledge in Software testing, Functional safety, Mechatronics
Familiar with tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, Simulink
Tools used, GIT, Vector DaVinci, CANoe & CANalyzer, SystemWeaver(SE-TOOL), PN-tool
Knowledge in C#, C++, CAPL, ISO26262, Python.
