As SW verification leader, you will have an important role in the development of new transmission control features, functions and solutions, for both conventional and electric powertrains.
Main Responsibilities:
. Plan and coordinate verification and validation activities securing that the embedded SW releases for Transmission ECUs are fulfilling their objectives and expected behaviors.
. Lead the development of new verification methods in the context of Software-in-the-loop (SIL), automated Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and in-vehicle testing.
. Interface and support SW development teams, product owners, project managers.
. Participating in project meetings, project reviews, and specification reviews, Sprint Planning, Release Planning, Daily Scrums.
. Participate and communicate effectively in a cross-functional, multi-cultural, global environment.
Skills and knowledge:
• Holding a degree in Engineering.
• Proven experience in leading embedded software verification activities within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in automated function testing, unit testing, and software system testing.
• Familiarity with the principles of in-vehicle verification and validation.
• Understanding of the software design and verification process from conception to delivery.
• Awareness of how functional safety standards impact the software verification process.
• Embedded SW development skills (C, Python, Matlab, Target link or Ascet)
• Driveline product knowledge or understanding of medium duty / heavy duty vehicle applications will be considered a merit.
• Strong collaboration skills.
