Role: SOFTWARE RELEASE LEADER
(position typically requires 10 years or more relevant experience)Perform functional development meaning requirement breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing and verification. Specialize in a technical domain (Vehicle, Electro mobility, Control Theory, Mechatronic, Diagnostics) in which features are developed. Lead system engineering in a technical team and play an active role in the delivery. Integrate deliveries from others. Responsibility for securing quality and readiness before release. The deliveries are often focused on the early phases of the development cycle, developing technical roadmaps. Network across the organization, as well as influencing the work in the other sites. Develop acquired competence, as well as participate in the business development. On Specialist level the employee is a specialist in Embedded Software Applications typically obtained through education and work experience (position typically requires 8 years or more relevant experience).

Role description & Responsibility
• Manage product configurations on software, meeting the unique requirements for a diverse product line
• Leading the integration & verification processes with product owners for in-house SW development & bridging with component owners for supplier developed software.
• Create and maintain the software delivery plan through continuous communication with our stakeholders
• Assess regulatory impacts for SW releases along the development life cycle
• Secure that the software & hardware components go together
• Ensure commonality between product configurations and thereby optimize the SW variants delivered
• Quality gatekeeper on the release content & delivery notes for every release
Who are you?

• You have a strong can-do attitude, a learning mindset and ability to drive tasks to completion

• Bachelors/master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• At least 10+ years of experience in automotive technology especially in Embedded Software development
• Possess a good knowledge about tools & workflow management systems – eg. version control systems
• Very good understanding of Continuous Integration and software tool chains
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experienced at working in a global organization with cross functional interaction
• Agile processes (KANBAN, SCRUM), experience from agile product development using the SAFe framework
