We're seeking a Verification Strategy Leader to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and implementation of our complete electrical system verification process ensuring the quality of our products. Your main focus will be in the area of software, function and system verification. As a Verification Strategy Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that our test methods, process, and rig environment are set to help us meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. You will work closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to develop and execute test strategies and roadmaps both operational, short term, but more important long term strategic direction.
Main area of responsibility:
You will work cross functional across all of Volvo Buses Product Development and in cooperation with Volvo GTT to develop and execute test strategies and roadmaps. your main responsibilities are:
• Identify, propose and implement the complete verification strategy and road map short and long term.
• Propose and implement decided improvements in our test process and methods, at all levels of the V model taking into account cybersecurity.
• Analyze the input of different teams and detect the gaps that need to be closed and continuously evaluate and prioritize the most important improvement areas to focus on.
• Advise the organization in investment planning of rigs/test environments.
• Lead the work of implementing the decided test strategy across the organization.
• Assure communication inside and outside the team about findings, progress and changes.
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in working with SW testing within a large-scale embedded system.
• Knowledge In Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment
• Knowledge in cybersecurity
• Several years of experience in SIL/HIL /test environments connected to complex product development.
• Solid experience in rig development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic mindset
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
