(position typically requires ?5 years relevant experience)
Let us tell you a little about who we are at Volvo Autonomous Solutions:
Volvo Autonomous Solutions is a young Business Area within the Volvo Group with the mission to offer autonomous transport solutions.
Together we will work on autonomous transport solutions that will challenge current standards and take us into the future. With entirely new business models and advanced technology, we will meet and exceed expectations from customers and contribute to a society we want to live in.
We will accelerate the development, commercialization, and sales of autonomous transport solutions within the Volvo Group. We do this by combining a typical scale-up agility with the strength of belonging to the Volvo Group.
There’s already about 400 of us and together we form a strong team ready to tackle the big challenges we have ahead of us. We are now looking for a Feature Management Team Leader driving the Feature Management domain across the organization, facilitating balancing of targets and requirements for our autonomous transport systems in customer sites.
What will you be doing? As our team member, you'll be part of driving innovation and collaboration to design operations that are nothing short of groundbreaking.
Your mission? To work in a dynamic team in crafting operations that bridge the gap between product planning and real-world implementation. From defining product capabilities to translating them into actionable requests, you'll be the mastermind behind comprehensive documentation that sets the stage for success. But that's just the beginning. You'll dive into the early pre-study phases, getting to know our customers' operations inside out and envisioning how automation can revolutionize their world. Your insights will lay the groundwork for the development of cutting-edge systems that exceed expectations.
And it doesn't stop there. You'll be the guardian of our documentation, ensuring it's always up to date and aligns perfectly with customer expectations and technical solutions. From nurturing training materials to crafting operator's manuals, your attention to detail will shine through in every customer-facing document.
Throughout the journey, you'll collaborate closely with our seasoned Product Planners, Project Managers, and development engineers, turning visions into reality and pushing the boundaries of what's possible.
Joining us now is a fantastic opportunity – you will get the chance to work in an environment where we are still developing our way of working. This means that you have a big opportunity to bring your experience and make an impact on how we refine our processes tools usage.
In this role you might be travelling to customer sites and proving grounds to fully understand the operation. You will gain a very good overall understanding of Autonomous Transport solutions and you will be looking for all kinds of improvements, making our offer the most competitive in the business.
In other words, this is an incredibly interesting opportunity, and the timing to join our team couldn't be more perfect!
Who are you? To thrive in this role, we're seeking someone with a genuine passion for delving into our customers' production processes and crafting automated systems that are not just efficient, but also user-friendly and intuitive. If you've got experience in customer operations, especially in dynamic environments like mines, open pits, or harbors, you're already ahead of the game! But that's not all. We believe that the ability to translate intricate operational details into crystal-clear documentation is key. So, if you've got an analytical mind and a knack for seeing the big picture, you might be the person we’re looking for. Teamwork makes the dream work, and that's especially true here. You'll be collaborating with customers and colleagues alike, building relationships and making connections every step of the way. So, if you thrive on working with others, listening closely, and communicating effectively, you're already halfway there. Of course, we also value skills like stakeholder management, and a strong grasp of system engineering. Experience of working with the JAMA tool is a merit. And if you happen to know your way around machinery or trucks, that's a definite plus! Above all, we need someone who's fluent in English, both written and spoken. So, if you're ready to dive into the world of process operations with enthusiasm and expertise, we want to hear from you!
We are actively working to establish teams that will take maximum advantage of the strength inherent to differences in knowledge, experience, age, gender, and nationality, among others. We find that well balanced work teams increase group dynamics, creativity, and new approaches to solutions.
