We are looking for an experienced UX Designer to work with our Aftermarket department and global diagnostic service platform to support predictive maintenance capabilities and secure a coherent and holistic approach to sharing data and widgets across multiple customer facing platforms.
This is an opportunity to work with a global team for one of the main strategic platforms in the Group (approx. 100' users globally across all of our truck brands and with a growing number of platforms and applications that consume the data in different ways).
We are looking for an innovative, communicative, self driven, business minded UX Designer with a structured mindset to help drive this development in partnership both with the Aftermarket core development team and Product Owners as well as UX Designers and Service owners working with platforms that consume the data.
An interest in handling complexity and how to turn data into value adding services is a must. Ability to manage both day to day work to secure UX/UI consistency and that we adhere to platform best practices, as well as capability to understand different customer needs (including an increasing focus on electromobility and automation) and a partnership mindset in order to contribute to the future solution roadmap(s).
Previous experience
- desired: Experience working closely with design and development of digital experience in a corporate environment. Ability to bridge stakeholders across functions, translate the customer and user needs to new business/user experience opportunities.
Tools and required level of expertise:
• Proficient in Figma design tool and the ability to create high-fidelity mockups and wireframes for desktop and mobile interfaces.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles, and demonstrated experience from designing for web and mobile platforms.
• Ability to design reusable components, icons, and illustrations that can be used across different pages and platforms.
• Knowledge and a keen interest in the latest design trends and technologies, and good ability to put it into practice when creating modern and visually appealing interfaces.
• Familiarity with design systems and the ability to create and maintain a style guide to ensure consistency across designs.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work closely with developers to ensure designs are feasible and can be implemented efficiently.
• Familiarity with design accessibility principles and the ability to design interfaces that are inclusive and accessible to all users.
• Good communication skills and ability to explain as well as motivate design decisions to stakeholders and clients.

We are looking for: A candidate who is collaborative, self driven and curious with strong social skills. A communicative and persistent person who thrives in dealing with complex tasks and are comfortable with pushing initiatives and taking responsibility.
Location:
Gothenburg – Lindholmen and Arendal
Start date: Start date as soon as possible, with six-month duration with high potential for renewal.
