Uptime support project manager
Location: Göteborg or Eskilstuna
MAIN TASKS
Lead the uptime support readiness preparation work when launching a solution in new development projects, Customer Implementation Projects (CIPs) or product improvement projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the uptime support project team, to ensure uptime support at end of a CIP or an update of the solution at a customer site.
Monitor uptime support needs in the solution project team.
Assess uptime support project risks and escalating issues when needed, to relevant governance.
Facilitate trade-off discussions to enable the right business decisions, related to uptime support.
Secure that all uptime support stakeholders are prepared when launch of new solution.
Plan development and CIP project activities and maintain uptime support deliverables.
Secure uptime support project deliveries on-time, on-cost, on-target
AUTHORITIES
Represent uptime support in project teams, local implementation forums (where applicable) and contribute to trade-off discussions to enable the right business decisions.
Request the necessary resources from the uptime support line organization.
Request support in governance forums.
COMPETENCE
Good understanding of global aftermarket functions
Good understanding of machines, vehicles, and technology
Good communication skills and ability in spoken and written English
Leadership skills
Cross functional coordination capability
Able to work in a structured way to manage and follow-up deliverables.
Knowledge about common project models (Volvo’s Global Development Process and/or other waterfall project models, Agile)
