Battery Verification & Data Management Engineer
The Role Energy Storage Systems Component Verification is a group within the Electromobility Test & Verification organization, with the responsibility of providing data to or stakeholders. We are looking for a battery verification and data management engineer with a passion for collecting, processing, manage and present data, continuously improve and contribute to creating better solutions that bring value to our company.
The assignment includes but is not limited to:
• Manage and clean existing and produced battery cell and module data, to enable ML/AI implementation for different purposes, as discrepancies from expected results
• Develop and maintain data handling, in strong collaboration with Volvo IT
• Assist in implementation of way of working to enable automated data handling, i.e. implementation of norm names, file naming, file format etc.
• Development of inhouse data management system
The candidate is further expected to
• Dare to try out new ideas and ways of working
• Contribute to our team spirit and have fun!
To succeed in this role, you will require
• Python programming experience
• A passion for data and how to present it
• Experience or education related to batteries or hardware verification
