Name of the position: Epic Owner- Passive Entry and Passive Start
Experience
- Education M.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar
Mission: The mission for the Epic owner is to cross-functionally support the Vehicle/Technology stream deliveries of verified & validated components, systems & functions (HW/SW), according to agreed Epic description and acceptance criteria This means that the Epic owner: manage interfaces with other Vehicle/Technology streams, sub-streams and teams coordinates the cross-functional GTX deliverables
Responsibilities:
Detect and propose improvement of the epic description based on the roadmap – balance with responsibility of Product Manager/ Product Owner – ensure the complete product delivery according to the epic description – plan the right sequence of milestones and align these milestones with concerned parties cross-functionally, including related Epics and IB (Intro Block) milestones – facilitate Epic breakdowns into a sequence of capabilities meeting the milestones – synchronize capabilities to secure that milestones are met and escalate when needed with the product owners – support and communicate across organizational boundaries, in order to safeguard the complete Epic delivery
Experience:
- Work Experience for coordinating portfolio epics through the portfolio Kanban system.
Experience on developing business case and, when approved, work directly with the key stakeholders on the selected Agile Release Train to help realize the implementation Experience of agile methods such as SCRUM, KANBAN, SAFe framework
Experience in SW project lifecycle development and Project Management. Knowledge Overall understanding of the EE system of a vehicle Knowledge of Agile way of working Working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define an epic using the ‘epic hypothesis statement” Working with internal teams and external Suppliers to develop cost estimates used in Participatory Budgeting
Working with internal teams to size the epic and provide input for economic prioritization based on Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF), the Lean business case. Competencies Collaborates
